Leibster Award

I’ve been nominated for the Leibster Award by the gals over at Mascara on the Run. Thanks very much for thinking of me

These are the questions they posed:

1. What is your Guilty Pleasure?

YA books, movies and TV. I know I’m getting a bit old for them but the stories are soooo good sometimes.

2. If you could live in a different time period, which would it be?

I think maybe the 1890’s-1900’s (but only if I had money), you still have all the old school dresses, carriages and things but everything is changing, there are marvels being invented all the time. While we all like the romanticism of the earlier eras with the balls and clothes and such at least in this time women are beginning to have more choices and can work. The other time would be the 1920’s, it would have been awesome to be a flapper 🙂

3. Would you rather live in the city or out in the country?

I’m a city girl. I grew up in the country and while it’s nice to visit I could never live there again. I almost go stir crazy when I visit my parents. There is nothing around us, if I even want a snack or soda I have to get in my car and drive all the way to the main road. Which of course my parents think is insane. I live in a building with a 7-11 on the first floor. I am used to convenience.

4. What is your home decor look/style?

Not sure I really have one, I go for bright colors mostly at the moment. It changes often, I usually start with the duvet cover, then I match everything to that.

5. What is your morning routine?

I don’t really have one, I work in the evenings so I don’t get out of bed until at least lunch time. If I’m going to work then it’s a quick wash, moisturizer and lip balm or gloss and out the door. I work with kids so it’s no fuss for me on work days.

I don’t really know who to nominate, I think all the blogs I follow have already been nominated. If you know of any that have not let me know in the comments and I will update this.
