These are some recent purchases that I have made that were not part of hauls. Some of them were picked up in store and others were off Gmarket or iHerb. I thought I would put them together here and then once I have used them a bit more will put up some proper reviews.
There was actually more than I thought once I started listing them all out I was quite surprised how much I had amassed just in little bits and pieces. I think I am going to have to start setting myself a budget soon as I have been going a bit overboard on the spending.
Aritaum Water Sliding Tint in #01 Pink Prism – I bought this on Gmarket a while ago now, it kind of got lost in the crowd as I had purchases from NYX and Stila to gush over. I had been wanting to try out their range but never got around to it so I picked this up one day when I was buying from a seller that had more than one brand in their mini-shop. It’s super soft and sheer as it’s a tint but in bar form rather than the usual liquid.
Laneige Two Tone Lip Bar in #01 Magenta Muse – I got this one in store at Aritaum, I actually went to look at the lipstick above but ended up with this. It was a couple of months ago and I had seen these online but they had just came into the store. The girl was really helpful and spoke excellent English so was able to convince me to give it a go. It has two colors in the bar that are supposed to give you an instant gradient look without the hassle of using more than one product. I’ve only had a small play with it so far and it was hard to get the two colors separate, I need to sit down and have another try.
Physicians Formula Organic Wear Mascara, 5x Lash Boosting (black) – I bought this on iHerb a while back but have not got around to using it yet. I l love the packaging and that it is natural and recyclable. I’m looking forward to giving it go when my current black one runs out. I am interested to see how it stands up against traditional ones.
Dr. Jart+ BB Mate Contouring 1.2.3 Kit – These were purchased at Olive Young a few months ago. It was a little pricey but I did get a discount if I remember rightly. I think it was about 30,000 won. Which actually works out about 10,000 per concealer so it’s not that bad whne you think about it. I’m interested in learning how to contour so I thought I would try this – you get a highlight, a neutralizer and a bronzer and a little card with directions.
Espoir Lipsticks in PK005 Pleasure Treasure and RD201 True – I got these of Gmarket probably around the same time I got the Aritaum one. More that have just been lost in the shuffle. I will definitely get around to reviewing these as I am really liking them. The cases are chic and functional and the colors are gorgeous.
Innisfree Color Glow Lipstick in #5 Plum Burgundy – I love Innisfree, it’s one of my favourites of all beauty shops. I find myself using more and more of their skincare products so I thought I should try out some of their makeup. As usual for me I start with the lipstick, for me it’s the easiest and I love all the colors and the packaging that you get. These lipsticks look nice in the white case, very minimalist and chic. The color is really pretty, I love these dark red colors.
VDL Tint Bar Triple Shot in #502 Triple Burgundy – The next two are from VDL and I got them in store, they just opened a store a couple of months ago in my town and I’ve been curious to have a look ever since. I finally made it in a few weeks ago. The first one I got was this triple bar one which, like the Laniege one, just comes down to I wanted to see what it was all about. It looks so cool in the multi-coloured box, then the lip case is clear so you can see the product through it. I think it’s safe to assume the packaging got to me on this one.
VDL Expert Color Lip Cube Moisture SPF10 in #105 Pink Positive – This is the other one I got on my VDL visit. I decided to try one of their basic lipsticks as well. I really like the shape of them, they are in a cube which looks super cool. It’s just so classy looking, the case is all dark and sleek and then the product has a little VDL etched into the top of it. The colors at VDL are amazing can’t wait to try out some other stuff. It is a bit more pricy than places like Etude House and Tony Moly but just from my small visit I think the quality will be very good.
E.L.F Lip Exfoliator – I got this from iHerb a while ago. It was just on a whim. I saw it and it looked interesting. It smells amazing and has lots of good for your skin things in it like Shea Butter and Vitamin E. It comes in a nice back case and just looks like normal lipstick except it’s got little scrub things in the actual product.
