I was really excited to try out this brand, their lip products are really interesting and I could have bought a lot more from their other products but I had already spent way too much.
The Yeon is a relatively new brand, the first store opened in Seoul back in 2013. It has expanded rapidly and now has stores internationally including America.
I will definitely be going back to this one and checking out more from their range in the future. I might even visit their actual store next time I am in Seoul doing some shopping.
What I got from The Yeon:
Style Y Fruity Swirl Lipbalm in no.01 Strawberry Twist and no.03 Lime Twist (7,000 won each)
No.02 is orange which is the only one I did not get. These smell and look great.
Style Y Glossy Fit Crayon Lipstick in no.03 Juicy Cherry (9,000 won)
This is much more sheer than I thought it would be, because it was called lipstick I was expecting it to come out the color of the crayon. It is more of a glossy finish and is quite sheer, it’s still really pretty so I’m happy with it. The first swatch is just one swipe and then the second is where I built it up with a few coats.
Style Y Soft Fit Stick and Tint in no.01 Red Tint Duo (15,000 won)
This is nice because it comes with the tint and the balm, the balm reminds me of the DuWop Icedteas but does not smell as strong as they do. It does have a nice fruity smell to it. The balm has no color.
Style Y Glossy Fit Stick and Gloss in no.03 Hot Pink Duo (15,000 won)
The first swatch is the lipstick by itself which is a really lovely pink, then the second is the gloss and the third is them both together.
Style Y Perfect Fit Longwear Lipstick in no.01 Cream Beige (13,000 won)
The first swatch is just with one swipe and then the second is with three coats.
I also got a couple of nice little gifts, an anti-wrinkle sheet mask and a good sized Lotus flower charcoal oil to foam cleanser sample.
